ETMS Highways partnership showcases long-term relationship building

Collaboration and building long-term business relationships are essential in today’s fast-paced business environment. One example of this is the relationship between BT-HS and ETMS.

BT-HS specialises in providing traffic management vehicles and specialist vehicle conversions to various organisations and businesses on a purchase-or-hire basis. ETMS, on the other hand, is a company that provides a full range of traffic management services.

About BT-HS

Established in 2018, BT-HS has always been driven by a desire to provide vehicles and products that are built and developed on the foundations of safety and quality.

With this in mind, the business quickly became accredited with ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2015 to provide an assurance to customers that they could also be confident in the company’s quality and safety standards, as well as its products.

About ETMS

ETMS Highways is a Kent based highways traffic management company providing a nationwide, high quality, reliable service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

They provide a full range of hire equipment and have a highly qualified and dedicated workforce who deliver a second-to-none service, from Stop and Go to High-Speed Contraflow.

For almost five years now, ETMS has been purchasing and hiring traffic management vehicles from BT-HS. This partnership has proven to be mutually beneficial for both companies.

One of the key factors that has made this partnership successful is the fact that both companies share the common goal of promoting safety on the roads. This has led to a strong sense of trust and cooperation between the two companies, which has been instrumental in maintaining a long-term business relationship.

Another important aspect of this partnership is the fact that both companies are able to learn from each other. ETMS is able to share its knowledge and expertise in operational traffic management with BT-HS, enabling the company to listen to those with boots on the ground in order to shape the further improvement of its vehicle solutions.

BT-HS MD Phil Glaiser told us:

“The partnership between BT-HS and ETMS serves as a great example of how collaboration and building long-term business relationships can lead to mutual success. By working together, both companies have been able to achieve their goals and provide high-quality services to their respective clients. We’re very thankful to ETMS for putting their confidence in BT-HS for a number of years now, and we look forward to many more years of supplying a company with so many similar ideals to ourselves – centred around safety and quality.”

ETMS Managing Director Martin Metcalfe added:

“ETMS continues to grow, and we’ll be relying on the BT-HS team to help us further with the rapid growth that we’re experiencing.

“In November last year, we began working from our ‘super depot’, a 2-acre site not far from Junction 4 of the M20. We have 50 people based at this depot, as well as 4 IPV’s and over 20 vans. As we continue to grow in 2023, knowing we have trusted and reliable suppliers such as BT-HS puts us in a strong position.

It’s vital to us that the people we work with value quality and safety in the same way that we do, and that we build relationships with suppliers that care about the experience of our customers as much as the experience of their own.”
