BT-HS is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious BIBAs 2025 Awards in the Manufacturer of the Year category. Recognised as one of the most respected and long-standing business awards programmes in the North West, the BIBAs highlight excellence, innovation, and achievement across the region’s most dynamic businesses.
This milestone marks a significant moment for the BT-HS team, who continue to drive forward with a mission rooted in innovation, safety, and quality. From delivering bespoke traffic management solutions to pioneering electric vehicle builds such as the E-IPV, BT-HS has established itself as a forward-thinking, high-performing manufacturer with a growing national reputation.
The judging process for the BIBAs is thorough and highly respected. The BIBAs is the county’s largest, longest running and most prestigious business awards ceremony, organised by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
BT-HS has now conducted two key stages as part of the final selection:
Firstly, an in-depth interview with the judging panel took place at Preston North End’s Deepdale Stadium on Thursday 15th May. This interview involved a deep dive into the company’s application and achievements, giving the BT-HS team the opportunity to showcase the journey so far, and the vision for the future.
Secondly, as part of the BIBAs on Tour initiative, the judging panel visited BT-HS headquarters earlier this week on Wednesday 4th June. This site visit allows the panel to gain a true sense of the working environment, engage with team members, and experience first hand the quality and culture that underpin every BT-HS build.

BT-HS sees this shortlisting not just as a celebration of the business itself, but as recognition of the incredible work and dedication of its people – from the workshop floor to the leadership team. It’s a powerful reflection of the commitment to raising industry standards, embracing innovation, and delivering consistent value to clients across the traffic management and specialist vehicle sectors.
Speaking on the announcement, BT-HS Commercial Director Jason Grigg said:
“This is recognition of our people – the dedication they show and the standards they set for themselves is what puts the company in a position to receive recognition such as this.
“I want to thank our whole team for their efforts in bringing us this far and still striving for better.”
Technical Director Alex Donkin added:
“To echo Jason, this is something we’re very proud of and it simply isn’t possible without the actions of our workforce. Our team are fantastic and the way they adopt our mantra of ‘where safety & quality meet’ on a daily basis is what drives us forward.”
The team at BT-HS would like to thank the BIBAs for this honour and extend congratulations to all other finalists. Win or lose, the opportunity to stand alongside so many incredible businesses across Lancashire is something the whole team is proud of.
