Bespoke Traffic and Highways Solutions Ltd (BTHS) are recruiting a Hire Manager for our office in Croston Lancashire.
BTHS are an established and fast growing company within the specialised vehicle and plant sector. We build specialised vehicles to customers orders and hire a range of vehicles from vans to HGV's to our customers.
We are seeking a fantastic communicator, who is able to deliver the very best service to our customers. Managing our hire fleet and our day to day hire operations,you will be able to build great working relationships and product knowledge which you will use to understand our customers needs and requirements. With the product knowledge and ability to provide the right rental product and services that meet our customers needs, you will also have the ability to maximise sales opportunities both over the telephone and in person.
You will be an ambassador to our culture of Safety and Quality and ensure that any issues are resolved quickly and keep your customers fully informed to ensure that they feel valued.
The role involves the management of hired vehicles and their maintenance, including periodic maintenance inspection planning, MOT planning, vehicle movements and contract administration for both customers and suppliers. Visiting customers and attending trade events is also a vital part of this role to ensure that you keep a face to face presence with our customers.
No two days are the same at BTHS and the ability to think on your feet and be adaptive is a vital skill. Therefore a great coordinator, who enjoys planning and working in a busy ever changing dynamic working environment is essential.

What you will need to bring to the role from day one:
Prior experience in a role where you can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills would be a distinct advantage.
Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and customers in service delivery.
Flexible and self-motivated, you’ll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities and work within a dynamic working environment.
Great communication skills – both verbal and written.
Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry.
Previous experience in the Hire, Traffic Management or Construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.
Previous demonstrable experience in fleet management is essential.
