As standard we build our IPV'S (Impact Protection Vehicles) with operator and road user safety as our first priority. Our standard IPV hire builds are designed by former and current traffic management operatives.

Cone Wells

We build cone well designs to customers individual specification on our sales vehicles.

On our hire vehicles we construct the cone wells wide enough to ensure operators can freely move around while working in the cone well. We include duel illumination, emergency warning button, optional drop down cone well covers, a drop down cone well front with speed operated proximity sensor warning, clear three points of access into the cone well from off the vehicle and clear three points of access (including fold down steps) from the cone well to the working area of the vehicle, we also install an adjustable push pole for fall arrest purposes

Our Sliding Drop Sides and fall Arrest System

As standard we include our sliding fall arrest and drop side system system to all our Impact Protection Vehicles.

This provides the benefit of avoiding having to fold down drop sides into live carriage ways, and reduces the removal of body components which can become miss placed at the roadside

FULL LED Illumination

As standard all our vehicles are fitted with LED illumination

We install all our cone wells with duel LED lighting to ensure that the operatives working within the cone well have the best viability available.

We illuminate the interior of our sign plate racking to aid in the selection of the correct plate at the road side and all our under bed vehicle storage and compartments.

As standard we install four LED work lamps to illuminate the working area of the vehicle and eight, four each side to illuminate the road area.

Colour Coded Access and Load Security

All our vehicles have colour coded three points of access and load restraint.

We colour all our access and egress points in bright yellow and supplement this with prominent safety signage. All our load security points are colour coded orange to ensure that operators of the vehicles use the correct anchorage points for load security.

Camera Recording and Tracking

All our hire vehicles come with six recording cameras with remote access and tracking capabilities, including cushion and light board deployment data.

We also provide all our vehicles with FORS and CLOCS compliant audible turn warning and vulnerable road user detection systems

Access to this system is FREE for all our hire vehicles and available for all vehicles we build for customers too.
